The flag part is complete.

Only the stars to go.

Each day I work on this afghan I remember how 

Patriotic my father was.

And how he instilled in us to love our country 

Our family and God.

Sisterly Love

Several weeks ago my favorite sister surprised me with a lighthouse floor mat.         

I do not know how anyone could step on it everyday all day long.

NOT in my house.

It has a very special place on the back of our couch.  

Thank you big sister.  I love you!

Fall is coming

I love fall.

The leaves are changing.

Pumpkin items are being made, sold and consumed.

The air is crisp and clean smelling.

Sweaters can be worn without people looking at you strangely.

It's time to celebrate my birthday and,

Scarves are being worn.  

It's time for me to get ready.

Scarves are so much fun to make.  

They don't take much time and can be the perfect addition to an outfit.
